This season really is Drip or Drown

Mostly drown for us warlocks :/ Hunters been taking nithing but Ws tho

While it isn’t everyone’s pick, I really like the standard seasonal armor on warlock as it gives warlocks a very minimalist armor set. Basically it is the furthest warlocks have gotten from the standard robes since the SRL armor from D1. This is a really good change of pace imo. For anyone looking for warlock armor that doesn’t “look like a dress” it is really quite nice. Though from an ornaments standpoint, I kinda agree, I don’t like the season pass ornament for warlock.

I'm just happy to see my warlocks legs cause of the seasonal armor.

the dungeon set is worth it plus while it's not my style the eververse set is a kind of armor, and any armor warlock set is an automatic W in my book

The bottom is Silver exclusive and means that we’ve gotten no BD armour this season. And we didn’t get a Trials set this season, despite getting one in Chosen and Haunted. And we still haven’t gotten ritual armour.

Sucks especially when you get no silver back from the season pass like majority of other games with this monetization model you can earn enough currency for next pass but not in destiny but atleast they gave you BD to spend on seasonal ornaments but now looks like they don't even do that.

To be fair don't most games that let you earn the battlepass in currency have less content in a season? Like there isn't a whole storyline and series of missions with them?

They look good aye. Really big fan of the Season Pass and Dungeon sets. But what they’ve done with Eververse this season is another step back. No new shaders (outside a single event one) that can be purchased with BD. And the only new ornament sets are the more expensive, Silver only collab ones. Don’t forget this is in addition to a recent Seasonal Price hike and (IIRC) a fairly recent hike on Dungeon pricing (could be wrong on that one). I’m genuinely surprised the sub and socials aren’t more vocal about it. It’s (rightfully) the kind of thing that upsets people. We’re not (yet) seeing any discernible increase in quality or quantity but are being asked to pay more across the board. Kind of gross.

Not a fan of the titan seasonal set at all, but I’m happy for the hunters and warlocks.

But 50 € to have the 3 sets for only 1 class though.

As a titan, the seasonal ornament is ugly.

Season armor is wack, playstation and seasonal ornaments are mid/good, dungeon armor is absolute fire, probably one of, if not the, best set in the game.

EVERY season is a season of the drip - there’s always new hotness with ornaments , shaders and armour. The Halloween set with the vampire warlock , werewolf hunter and Frankenstein titan from FoL a while ago is my top tier along with the Voltron/Gundam set and the Northern Lights set. I have too many to wear all at once !

I love the Playstation armor but the price is absolutely absurd so I'll never buy it. The dungeon armor is great though.

So for the PS collab armors, the titan is Kratos and the hunter is Aloy from Horizon. Who is the warlock supposed to be? Someone from Ghosts of Tsushima? I’m not familiar with the game, so I wasn’t sure.

I’m having a real bitch of a time trying to find a shader that looks good with the dungeon armor. Anybody know a good one? I was hoping to find one that made them bone white without the glow or like a decayed bone color.

Have you tried the one from last wish? Dreaming spectrum i believe it’s called? I know it turns some armor a bone color.

I’ve actually never done last wish raid. Guess that’s yet another incentive for me to get that done this season haha.

My only issue with the warlock GoT set the ever verse is selling, and this just my opinion because I love the game and the lore, Jin was a samurai not a ninja and did not carry a sword on his back, let alone a wakizashi. Katanas and wakizashies are curved swords and were to be carried on the hip whereas a ninjas sword was carried on the back and was a straight sword…. Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk lol

Annoyingly, the hunter dungeon chest armour has the same fabric as the Cape, so you would have to have the same or very similar shader for both the Cape and chest.

The GotD armor works amazing with color change shades. I know Pole Position is the go-to. But give Pulp Texture a glance. Or sinking feeling. Or crucible vermillion

Nah. There's always a piece I like and the only ones I thought were cool I had to buy. It's either be a fish, trying to fulfill my oath, or trash (hunter exclusive). I hate to hate this hard but I want to like it and I want to enjoy the game.

I think season of the seraph ornaments were good. The hardened basilisk sets were super good ( which I sadly couldn’t get ) and the eververse ornaments looked dope too

Dungeons can be done with no mic tbh. Just know how to do them, and it can usually be relatively smooth. I dont do raids because of a lack of friends that play d2 so dungeons are more my thing.

This is legit the best season in the last 2 years or so. For this i am willing to pay. Gameplay, cosmetics, everything . I haven't been excited about Destiny in a while but this really felt like a step up. Now we can only hope it lasts for a while

I honestly really like the set you get from the sonar station too on warlocks, we don't get many non-robe chests.

As a hunter, I'm kinda jealous Warlocks got the Ghost Of Tsushima set because that is probably my favorite game of all time, but this is all good stuff.

Photo Finish on the dungeon armor (at least for hunters) makes you a walking RGB stick.
