Okay, there are two reasons I can think of.
You're in a Kleber, and that can be an incredibly annoying experience for enemies to deal with, shooting, missing, getting HE spammed in the meantime... Not your fault, that's how the ship is played, but can cause reports.
Or it's that "You are welcome team" at the end. It feels a bit cocky, which can rub people the wrong way.
Either way it doesn't really matter. You did what was needed to win and it's job done.
Yep, this Airship mode is the most fun I had in Kleber for moths! When you have teams that pay attention to objective for a change, crushing far flank early and get enemy in a "pincer" while they all are coming towards you can be load of fun...:)
And shame on me for that cocky "You are welcome team" comment, but I truly felt like that in that moment, so.. what can a man do...:)
but tbh your performance isnt even that good. Like, sure, you did an OK amount of damage and got 3 kills, but you didnt contribute to any of the pushing or anything, you didnt dev strike any BBs with torps, so its actually pretty ridiculous that you think you carried the team or anything like that.
Id say your main useful contribution was killing the Oster, personally, the rest was just farming.
And bad farming at that. I'd expect there to have been more damage. I also expected more spotting damage than what he had if he was truly keeping the entire enemy team spotted.

DD is an art though. Not many good DD players in the game that actually do what the role is supposed to do.
1000%. More spotting damage and FAR more damage. 118k is....incredibly meh especially in a Kleber ESPECIALLY in the Airship mode when you can yolo around and everyone is focused on the center points
Over 100k damage isn't a meh game. It's just I expected at least 150k from the gunning and fires.
Spotting I expected way more since that apparently was a bragging point.
Airship mode though I agree with. Lots of chokepoints to ambush and do massive damage output.

Well tbh you played that a bit like a random battle and not airship. Your teammates carried you and then you acted like you carried them, so yeah I get it…

My self and 2 clan mates had a game last week. 1 Clan mate had 250k dmg with 2.8k base xp I had 190k dmg with 2.3k base xp. Between the 3 of us we killed 9 players and took all 3 caps.
Negative 4 Karma for the 250 and Negative 2 Karma for me.
Some players are just mad you are better than them.
If you go to the WoWS Discord, there is a channel under "Fun" section called "#minimap-renders", you can find them on there and learn how to make them as well.
You played escort like a random battle. After you killed their DD, you ran for the border HE farming. The rest of your team fought the objective while you padded damage. Basically, your team was likely annoyed that your contribution being taking out a slava (pretty worthless in escort) and farming their other BBs/Cruisers.

How do you tell your karma in game? I had a pop-up end of match last night saying I had a compliment, but for all I know that all goes to an abyss.
If you click up on your name in port, you'll see a little number next to it - that's your karma.
